Everyone at Vashon Lacrosse continues to develop their skills as the season progresses.
At at Charles Wright Academy last week, the girls’ team placed first overall, with 181 points.
The team continued their so-far successful season with an away game shutout last week against Life Christian Academy.
Saffron Hinz plans to swim her favorite stroke, the backstroke, during her time at Macalester, as well as the freestyle.

There was lots of action for spectators to keep up with, and several island athletes set personal bests.
The game could have been in full control early but stayed closer than expected.
“It’s always fun to take the team to the UW and row through the cut,” said coach Richard Parr.

Vashon Varsity Baseball was already off to a good start this season. Last week, they achieved a new level of success.
