Trudy Lawson died 1/26/2011. Born in Tacoma, 1922. Graduated Stadium HS. Attended University of Puget Sound. Member of SPURS, Sophomore Women’s Honorary. Graduated University of Washington, Seattle. M.A. in Speech Therapy. Member of Chi Omega. She was a past President: Board of Directors, YWCA, Tacoma. Past President Vashon Community Club. Member of St. Paul’s Episcopal church. She was predeceased by brother Robert Kincaid, 1944; husband Del, 1983. Surviving are daughters Laureen Lawson and Tracy Lawson Parker, granddaughter Ami McLelland, brother-in-law Robert Lawson, and godson Mark Burns, Canada. At her request, there will be cremation, no services. Burial at New Tacoma Cemetery.
