Thelma Hansine Danielson Murphy, born October 24, 1925, and raised on Vashon, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2010. She was a mother of four children, Robert, Sheila, Paul, and Tom; 8 grandchildren; and

15 great grandchildren. She lived her life to the fullest, loving her family, music, baseball and the Seattle Mariners, and any great meal that her youngest son or only daughter would make for her.

Her farewell words, “The Party’s over!”

Thelma is survived by her two sons and their wives, Paul and Darlene, Tom and Maggie and many beloved grandchildren.

A graveside service will meet at Vashon Cemetery on Saturday, June 26, at

11 a.m., a celebration and a remembrance of her life from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Vashon Eagles.
