Randy Keith Ryan, 53, born June 16, 1955, died suddenly on Nov. 3, 2008, after a short illness. He was born in Enio, Okla., grew up and went to school in Wichita Falls, Texas, and moved to the Seattle area when he was 18.
Ryan worked in music stores and book stores in West Seattle; he had an extensive music collection and wrote poetry to fill many notebooks. He is survived by his sisters Lisa Ryan Devereau (John) of Vashon, Pamela Curtin of West Seattle and stepsisters Linda Hamilton (Steve) and Rhea Harvey (Dan), both of Vashon.
He is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews on Vashon and in the Seattle area and many aunts, uncles and cousins in and around Portland, Ore. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Ryan, stepmother Joy Ryan and mother Pat Ryan.
