Pam Beall passed away on June 22, 2010 in Olympia, Washington. She was born Pamela Theresa Law on August 4, 1928 into the large Law family (13 children, Pam was number 6). The family moved from Seattle to Vashon Island when Pam was in grade school. Pam graduated from Holy Rosary High School in 1948. She attended Seattle University and then worked for the Puget Power Company on Vashon.
She met the love of her life, Tom Beall, and they were married in 1952. The household of Tom, Pam, Maxine and Tommy, quickly grew in numbers: Mary, Bridgette, Mike, Don and Sharon. Pam loved babies and children, playing and having fun. She snow skied, water-skied, golfed, and played bridge. She loved Camel cigarettes and coffee. She helped at the Beall greenhouses by flocking Christmas trees and driving shipments to the airport. Pam volunteered at the Vashon Fire Department driving the ambulance or fire trucks.
In later years, she and Tom moved to New Mexico where they started a geo-thermal greenhouse business. When they retired they moved to Arizona where they enjoyed the desert and warm weather. They moved back to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to family in 1997. Pam lost her husband of 49 years in 2001. She loved playing with her grand kids and great grand kids.
Pam’s Celebration of Life service was held in Lacey, Washington on June 25, 2010.
