Mary Pauline Wright, born March 25, 1917, to Elting and Mable Wyne at home on their family’s farm in LaPlace, Illinois, died January 15, 2012, in Port Orchard, Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Leland Wright, in 1998 after which she moved to Vashon to live with her daughter, Anita Brenner, grandsons Robert, Charles, his wife Kelly, and Daniel Brenner.

She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Elvira Wyne, and son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Annice Wright of Illinois.  She was grandmother to Karen and Craig Kaley of Colorado, Brian and Hannah Wright of Illinois, Teresa and Michael McCullock of Texas, Susan and Tim Stover of Illinois.

She was great grandmother to Scott, Heather, Tyler, Cory, Hunter, Taylor, Conner, Dylan, Solon, Izaya and Josiah.

Mary believed in God, education, and family.  Please remember her with prayer, contributions to your school of choice, and an act of kindness to a family member.
