Born Mary Leslie Lack, March 24, 1941, in Long Beach, California, to Leslie Lacy Lack and Mary Evelyn Lack.

Mary passed away on August 9, 2022, at Quail Park in West Seattle with her three sons by her side.

Mary was raised in Long Beach, California, and moved to Renton, Washington, in 1970 and then to Vashon Island in 1973. She made ends meet by running a daycare in her home – the children who attended still have fond memories.

She had a great love of gardening (was on the Vashon Garden Tour), flowers (worked both as a florist and in nurseries), travel, and most of all her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her three sons; Tony, Robert, and Dave Creighton, her granddaughters; Katy and Leslie Creighton, and Kristina Sternberg and her four great-grandchildren, Stella Creighton, Ivy and Lilly Sternberg and Gregory Mathews.
