Marlene M. Danner, a long-time resident of Vashon Island, died at her home in Snohomish, Wash. Feb. 20, 2005. She was 73 years old.
Marlene was born in Huron County, Mich. on Oct. 1, 1931. She moved to Vashon Island in the early 1950s and remained until the early 1990s. She loved her family, and family was a priority throughout her life. All who knew her will miss her.
Survivors include her children Kathleen M. Mullins of Lynnwood; Douglas E. Richards and Patrick J. Richards, both of Seattle, and Michael D. Danner of Tacoma. Surviving siblings include Leon Hebert of Fort Atkinson, Wisc.; Pete Hebert, Munising, Mich.; Paul Hebert, Racine, Wisc.; John Hebert, Shingleton, Mich.; Virgine Weber, Racine, Wisc.; and Corrine Simpson, Sequim, Wash. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews, including Wayne Allen of Normandy Park, Wash., and 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Her husband Charles D. Danner and daughter Janice Marie Richards died earlier.
She will be interred at Vashon Island Cemetery.
