Marilyn Rae Bailey, 63, passed away on August 20th, 2015. She was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota on September 5th, 1951. Marilyn graduated from Vashon High School and later received a degree in nursing from North Seattle Community College. She was married to Gary Lee Bailey on January 17th 1970 and had two children, Vincent and Angela.

Marilyn’s career and passion was to care for others. She worked for over 30 years in general health, nursing homes and home health care taking care of those that needed her love and support. Most of all, Marilyn had passion for her family, especially her grandkids, and her animals. She was also an avid reader and loved to shop.

Marilyn is lovingly remembered by; son – Vince(Nikki); daughter – Angela (Keith); grandchildren -Gary, Vincent, Keyonna, Brianna, Kayla and Daniel; sisters & brothers – Barbara (Dave), Bonnie (Doug), Patty (John), Bob (Debbie), Barbara B., and Doug F; companion – Brad; natural father- Peter and many other extended family members whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by; husband – Gary; parents – Helen and Chuck Hanna; sister – Karilyn; best friend – Joe.

Marilyn will be laid to rest on Saturday, September 5, 2015.

Services will be held at Yarington’s Funeral Home.
