M. Lucille Eister died Nov. 9, 2003, after a brief illness. She was 82 years old.

Mrs. Eister was born at home on a little country road in eastern Ohio on July 7, 1921, to Anna and Ambrose Stotts and was the youngest of four siblings.

She made her home in Fort Wayne, Ind., for more than 40 years and was a resident of Vashon Island, Wash., in her last days.

Survivors include her husband Ralph Eister, son Larry Eister, daughter-in-law Nancy and granddaughters Leah, Justine and Rowan Eister.
