Leann Jennifer Brandt passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate family on February 5, 2023.

Leann was born in Wapato, Washington on December 8, 1971. She and her family moved to Vashon Island when Leann was in grade school. Right off the bat she met her best friend and sister for life, Becky Jenkins (Smith). The two grew up together, getting into mischief and raising families along the way, remaining close throughout the years.

Leann was born with a wild spirit and a love for nature and animals, particularly horses. All through her younger years Leann and her horse Risky Roo were inseparable, participating in local shows. Shortly after graduating Vashon High School in 1990 Leann met and fell in love with Gabe Larkins. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona shortly after and started a family of their own.

Throughout her years in Arizona, Leann raised her daughter, Samantha, and many years later became a grandmother to her sweet Miss Layla Harley Rae. She and Layla had a bond that was undeniable and shared a special kind of love.

Leann leaves behind her daughter: Samantha Larkins, granddaughter: Layla Hernandez, mother: Allison Endicott (Conn), brother: Eric Brandt, sisters: Karey Brandt and Michelle Brandt, father: Mike Brandt, along with many extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Leann will be held Saturday, June 24th from 2-5 pm at Vashon Eagles.
