Gordy was born January 11, 1920, on Vashon Island to Arthur and Flora Furbush and passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Graham on October 13, 2008.

He is survived by daughters Sandra Spencer, Pamela Clark and Lynda Logan, sons Arthur and Joseph Furbush, stepson Michael Belshay, nieces, nephews, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren and countless friends.

Funeral services will be held at New Tacoma Cemeteries, 9212 Chambers Creek Road W, University Place, WA 98467 on Saturday, October 25, 2008. Viewing to commence at 1 p.m. with graveside service and celebration of life to follow.
