George Kingston Michael “Mike” Pottinger died Dec. 26, 2004, after a short illness. He was 75 years old.

Survivors include his wife Juanita Pottinger of Port Orchard, his sisters Heather Tait of Kamloops, B.C., and Ursula Ratti of Seattle, daughter Catherine Madison, son Kevin Pottinger of Vashon, daughter Carrie Pottinger of Paris, France, son Paul Pottinger and Todd Pottinger of Seattle, and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned sometime in the coming weeks. A full obituary will be published later.
