A great mom and lady has passed away to be with her Savior.

Donna came to Vashon Island from Nebraska in 1937, with her family, to escape the Dust Bowl. She moved out west with her parents and nine siblings.

Donna was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Charles. She is survived by all of her children: Donna Dinsmore, Dale Gimblett (Sandee), Allan Gimblett, and Rhonda Gimblett. She was also survived by three siblings and many nieces and nephews.

With her husband, Charles, she visited several foreign destinations such as Singapore, the Philippines, and England. They lived in NorthCentral Washington for several years before Donna moved to Seattle in 2013 after Chuck’s passing in 2009.

One of her greatest joys in life was her children. She was always a loving mother.

At Donna’s request, there will be no service and her ashes will be scattered.

Mom, we will miss you. A loving mother is a profound blessing.
