David Brown Steward passed away on June 8, 2018, in Santa Monica, CA. He was 49 years old. David was the son of Katy Jo Steward, and Steven Eugene Paschall of Vashon, WA.

Born in Washington DC on April 10, 1969, David eventually became a citizen of the world. He was a man who loved to travel, a man who made lasting friendships wherever he went. David lived on Vashon, in Sayulita, Mexico, and for many years in the high Himalaya of India. When he met the love of his life, Maria Porter Steward, California became home. David and Maria were married in 2015 and have a two-year-old son, David Miles Steward, the joy of his father’s heart.

David is remembered for his generosity of spirit, his intense loyalty to his family and friends, and his passionate zeal for living.
