Daniel Louis Schumacher passed peacefully on the morning of October 30, 2011.

He was born on Feb 4, 1963 in Walnut Creek, California to Ruth and Maurice Schumacher, and spent most of his life in California before moving to Vashon in 1997.

Daniel loved richly and was deeply loved by his 4 daughters, Jenin Denni Dale, Maranda Kahli Jacobsen, Tessa Claire Schumacher, and Riley Mae Schumacher; his 3 grandchildren, Lorelei, Maggie, and Killian; father Maury Schumacher, sister Jennifer Howmiller and brother David Schumacher; his beloved partner Deborah Perpetua, and by a wide circle of family and friends whose lives were so brightened by his presence.
