Carol Hofmann died Oct. 24, 2005, in Seattle. She was 64 years old.
Mrs. Hofman was born May 24, 1941, in Chehalis, Wash.
She was active in the PTA, was a Vashon High Schoolvolleyball coach and was an active member of the Vashon Eagles Club.
Her passions included enjoying the beach, fishing and making jewelry.
Friends say she did not judge anyone and so everyone found her a good friend. She also was a good listener.
Survivors include her children Mike Sturza and his wife Micki of Onalaska, Wash., Michelle Sturza Wheat and her husband Bryan of Chehalis, Wash., and Mickey Stevenson of Winlock, Wash., John Sturza and Connie Palmer, both of Vashon Island and grandchildren Tyson and Stace Sturza, Gage Wheat, Joe and Nick Stevenson, Dalton and Corey and Martti Sturza and Kayla Palmer.
There was a service last Saturday.
