Betty H. Klouse

(February 10, 1925 – February 17, 2012)

Betty H. Klouse went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ February 17, 2012. She was 87. Betty lived her life for her Lord and for her family. She was a life-long member of First Presbyterian Church in Tacoma, and a member of Order of the Eastern Star.

Born to Bert and Mary Lewis on February 10, 1925, Betty grew up near Tahlequah on Vashon Island and later moved to Tacoma as a young adult. She graduated from Stadium High School Class of 1943. Betty and Jim married in 1952.

Betty was a career secretary and employed variously. Her favorite position was as executive secretary and office manager for Youth for Christ/Tacoma from which she retired in 1990.

Betty is survived by the love of her life Jim, of Puyallup, and sons Bill (Andrea), Jim (Julie) and Paul (Lois) Klouse; grandchildren Katie (Jason), Jennifer, Jamie, Brittney, Sonia, Evan, Aubrey, Braden, and great grand-daughter Elizabeth Knoke.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11am at Tuell-McKee Funeral Home 2215 6th Ave, Tacoma, WA 98403. Private burial followed at Woodbine Cemetery.

It is suggested that memorial donations in Betty’s memory be made to Youth for Christ, Tacoma Area Inc., P.O.Box 834 Tacoma, WA 98401-0834.
