Vashon lost to the Cougars 37-14 on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

Failing to tie for first place in the Nisqually League, the Pirates will still have a playoff game against a Northwest District team on Tuesday, Nov. 11. The winner advances to the state 1A playoffs.

The opponent and location of Tuesday’s game will be determined by the outcome of a football game today (Lynden Christian vs. King’s).
