Chautauqua Elementary School and the Vashon PTSA will host the annnual Book Fair Nov. 17 to 25.
Families, teachers and the community are invited to attend the Book Fair, with the theme, “Book Fair Safari.”
The book fair will feature a special family event with a book exchange (please bring books to trade), Ooey Gooey Science Night with Barbara Gustafson, popcorn, bake sale and a special guest. The evening event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21.
The book fair will then be held weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the third floor Common Area at Chautauqua.
The fair will offer specially priced books and educational products, including new releases, award-winning titles, children’s classics, interactive software, adult books and current bestsellers from more than 100 publishers.
Book fair customers may help the school build classroom libraries and improve children’s reading skills by purchasing books through the Classroom Wish List and One for Books programs.
