Children and their families gathered for the return of “The Great Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt” at Ober Park on Saturday, April 16.
The Vashon Park District hosted this year’s festivities, stuffing 3,000 eggs for the hunt. The annual egg hunt was previously hosted by the Vashon Island Chamber of Commerce, but was halted two years ago. By the urging of island kids and one very large bunny, the Park District was happy to help.
According to Recreation Manager Eric Wyatt, the event was a great success and was made possible with the help of Park District staff and volunteers.
