Ruth Violet Sauer left to be with the Lord on October 22, 2016.
She was the daughter of Herbert and Helen (Koschel) Wengle, and was born on March 2nd, 1930, in Browning, Montana.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Sauer, two sisters, Elma Tobias and Esther Daniels and a big brother, Bud Wengle. She is survived by two sisters, Mildred (Millie) Tucker and Lorraine Crandall. She is also survived by her three sons, Gary Sauer, wife Donna, Randy Sauer, wife Donna, and Henry Sauer, wife Sue; her grandchildren, Jake, Nate, Chris, Jen and Brian, and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom loved her dearly and will miss her. Ruth was an active person. Her hobbies included crafts, geneology, cooking, crocheting and she especially enjoyed gardening. Ruth loved the Lord. She was a longtime member of the Vashon LDS Church. A memorial was held on 10/27/16 at the Vashon Island Cemetery.
