A 75-year-old woman was struck by a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck at 9:15 a.m. today while crossing the intersection of SW Bank Rd and 100th Ave SW, sustaining a head injury.

The woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center according to Sgt. Tim Meyer, King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson. There was no indication the driver was impaired at the time of the accident, according to Meyer. The incident is under investigation by the county’s Major Accident Response and Reconstruction Unit.
