The July 20 meeting of the Vashon-Maury Island Community Council (VMICC) is fast approaching, and the deadline for submitting questions to King County’s Department of Local Services Director John Taylor prior to the meeting is today, June 16.

Local services is responsible for county roads, issues permits, manages land use planning, code enforcement, and a host of other responsibilities concerning Vashon-Maury Island.

Questions for John Taylor should be submitted to David Vogel at dsvogel.atty@gmail.com, and the questions will be forwarded to Mr. Taylor so that he can prepare to respond during the July 20 meeting.

The agenda and the link to the meeting are posted on the VMICC website at vmicc.net. It will be hosted at 7 p.m. Monday on Webex.
