Burn ban lifted

Recent rainfall and cooler weather have reduced the fire danger.

Effective Oct. 1, Vashon Fire and Rescue, in coordination with the King County Fire Marshals, announced the end of this summer’s fire safety burn ban.

Recent rainfall and cooler weather have reduced the fire danger, the department said, and it is now safe to resume all properly regulated fires.
