Henry Perrin to perform at Vashon Brewery

Local musician Henry Perrin will perform a mix of classic rock, blues and original songs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, on the Vashon Community Pub patio.

Students perform songs and techniques on Japanese koto

A recital of the sounds of Japan’s national instrument, the Koto, will be performed at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Mukai Farm & Garden. Two well-trained high school students from Koto no WA, a Seattle club that has promoted koto playing for more than a decade, will perform traditional and popular compositions.
