A cast and crew of thespians at Vashon High School will present Lerner and Loewe’s hit Broadway musical “Camelot,” from March 11 to 27.
The musical, which is set in medieval times, tells the story of the tragic love triangle between King Arthur, his knight Lancelot and Queen Guinevere.
The show includes such famous tunes as “If Ever I Would Leave You” and “Follow Me.” Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with $12 tickets for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Sunday family matinees take place at 2 p.m., when all seats are $10.
On Saturday, March 12, there will be a benefit performance for the senior class. All tickets are $15 and include a dessert intermission and a silent auction. Saturday, March 19, is Rotary Night. All seats for that show are also $15, and a portion of the proceeds wil benefit Rotary service projects.
Tickets are available at Books by the Way, Vashon Bookshop, the VHS office and at the door. Rotary Night tickets are also available from Vashon Rotarians.
