The First Friday Gallery Cruise takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 4.
Blooms and Things will have an exhibit by photographer Ray Pfortner, including new work — flower and tree images, embedded in beeswax — as well as other fine art prints.
Blue Heron Gallery will exhibit “Impressions: Diverse Directions in Print,” featuring members of Quartermaster Press. Edith Sehulster, Suzanne Moore, Lisa Guy, Francesca Fuller and Beth Dunn will show monotypes, limited edition prints, collages, artists’ books and sculptural pieces.
Books by the Way will show large-format landscape photographs by Douglas Mesney, who will be present to launch his new book, “Giclée Prepress — The Art of Giclée.” The book addresses what he calls the “disconnect” between people and printing.
Café Luna will show watercolor paintings by Donna Botten.
Good Merchandise will offer live music, refreshments and an inventory of work by 60 artists.
The Hardware Store Restaurant will show work by fiber artist Nancy Sipple, including quilts, hand embroidery, heirloom sewing, English smocking, Japanese kimekomi and temari embroidery. Sipple recently opened Nancy’s School of Fiber Arts.
Heron’s Nest will feature Lynanne Raven’s embellished mirrors and Margi Amstrup’s oil paintings.
Red Bicycle Bistro & Sushi will display art by Josh Manwaring and Tom Norton.
Spice Route will present mixed media work by Anne Gordon.
Silverwood will show Ivonne Escobar de Kommer, Gretchen Hancock, Eric Heffelfinger and Kristen Reitz-Green.

Treasure Island will show ceramics and encaustic paintings by Tami Anderson.
Two Wall Gallery will exhibit “Urban Hardscapes: Reflections, Restorations, Ruins,” featuring industrial artist Ries Niemi, tile and ceramic artist David Blad and photographers Larry Darrah and Ezekiel Gray. Jack Strubbe will also exhibit work.
VALISE will exhibit “Ecotones,” a two-person show featuring installations by VALISE member Heather Joy and Port Townsend artist Gloria Lamson.
Vashon Bookshop will show Raymond Martinez’s photographs and art by students at Creative Preschool. There will be a reading at 7 p.m. by poet Merna Hecht and Flights of Fancy, an intergenerational writing group.
The Vashon Senior Center, located on Bank Road, will exhibit watercolor paintings by longtime Islander Jeanne Snell.
Vashon Tea Shop will present mixed media work by Anne Gordon.
