Singer-songwriter Emree Franklin will perform at Snapdragon from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
Franklin, who hails from Friday Harbor, is a 20-year-old singer with a poignant voice, edgy rhythms and creative lyrics.
She began writing and singing when she was 9 and recording by age 14. In 2012, she recorded songs at the legendary Castle Recording studio in Nashville, where she became a regular performer at the Castle Live events.
In 2013, Franklin was signed by a record label and moved to Nashville to write material for her upcoming EP to be produced by Grammy award-winner Warren Huart (The Fray, Augustana, Aerosmith).
Currently Franklin splits her time between Seattle, Nashville and Los Angeles.
