The Seattle International Comedy Competition will make a stop at the Vashon Theatre tonight, Nov. 26, on its way to the final round.
This will be the 35th year for this annual comedy head-to-head, which bills itself as “the real last comic standing.”
With 33 competitors coming from the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and Africa, the competition is comprised of 22 shows in 26 days at venues all over the state.
Contestants get the chance to impress various industry professionals serving as the competition’s judges, including talent executives from several major television networks and movie studios, as well as managers, agents and producers.
Having begun on Nov. 5, the show on Vashon will be the second of the final five performances featuring the five finalists competing for the crown.
The competition ends with a final show and winner announcement at the Comedy Underground in Seattle on Sunday, Nov. 30.
