Vashon Allied Arts’ Classical Concert series will present a program with music by several Nordic composers at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Blue Heron.

Works by Sibelius, Aulin, Gade and more will be performed by violinist Svend Rønning and pianist Lisa Bergman.

Rønning is an associate professor of music at Pacific Lutheran University and concertmaster of the Tacoma Symphony Orchestra. He records and performs throughout the world.

Bergman is known in the Northwest as a passionate advocate for classical music as a midday announcer on Classic King-FM. She is also the artistic director of the Mostly Nordic Chamber Music Series presented at Seattle’s Nordic Heritage Museum.

Tickets are $20 for VAA members, $22 for seniors, $24 for general admission and $5 for students. Tickets are available at vashonalliedarts.org and at the Blue Heron.
