Book your tickets now for Vashon Theatre Fest

Tickets are now on sale for Vashon Repertory Theatre’s (VRT) second annual Vashon Theatre Fest, slated for the last two weekends of July at Vashon Center for the Arts, Open Space for Arts & Community, and Snapdragon’s Black Cat Cabaret.

This year’s festival lineup will include Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” and a New York-bound new musical, “Somewhere Between,” penned by islander Alan Bruce Becker, which tells a contemporary small-town coming of age story, with original music written in a pop-jazz style.

Another one-person show, “Seeger,” will celebrate the life and music of the famed folksinger Pete Seeger. The festival also includes a series of readings of new plays by Northwest writers, and a presentation of physical theater called “5-Minute Wonders.”
