Your front-page story on Feb. 18 (“Quilt shop to move off-island as building sells”) is the most tragic, depressing real estate story ever read. It appears unethical to displace a thriving, beautiful community asset when there is much other real estate listed for sale on Vashon in need of buyers. Hundreds of patrons and friends of Island Quilter have broken hearts due to this devastating news.
