Please inform Kevin Freeman that if he’s going to write a letter to the editor that sounds erudite and intelligent he should be grammatically and punctually correct. (“News story was really a shameful witch hunt against Bangasser.”)

He should know that a “disingenuous response of the editorial board,” should properly read, “a disingenuous response by the editorial board.” In addition he should, perhaps, use commas when he uses the word perhaps in the context in which it was used. Furthermore, his a dithering run-on sentence that completes his second to the last paragraph is shameful and offends my literary senses.

This is, once again, an example of the Beach-comber’s inability to attract writers of editorial letters who understand true literary elitism. His faux-elitism in defense of his supercilious position is absolutely reprehensible. I am so upset by this continued behavior by your editorial board to allow these shameful submissions that I am immediately extending my subscription for another two years. Please forward me the necessary paperwork.

And I’d love to borrow a thesaurus so I may be more resplendent in my wordsmithing in the future.
