Thanks to our first responders

I need to express my gratitude for the young men and ladies serving our community as first responders. Thank you!

I have served in the U.S. Marine Corps and been a policeman, fireman, and ambulance driver in my younger life. Today I am 86 and in my weaker years.

I have slipped (fallen lightly) to the floor twice in the past 30 days, and was unable to get back on my feet without serious help. The 911 response was extremely fast, and these young people lifted me back to standing. It is a mind saver for my wife of over 50 years to have this help close by.
