Letter to the Editor: Let’s dump stuff at letter writer’s home

I was pleased to see Tom Herring’s desire to stop using the Vashon transfer station for trash. (See letters to the editor, Aug. 4 issue.) I, too, have thought that a more ecologically sound and sustainable situation would be great.

I was pleased to see Tom Herring’s desire to stop using the Vashon transfer station for trash. (See letters to the editor, Aug. 4 issue.) I, too, have thought that a more ecologically sound and sustainable situation would be great.

That trip to the dump uses gas and does who-knows-what to the planet. When Tom releases his address, I hope it’s near the west side, so it’s close to me and I can save some gas and not have to pay those pesky fees that the county charges.

Way to go, Tom. I’ll be there as soon as I get the address.
