I’m really excited about the new Vashon library.

I live behind the construction site and have really enjoyed watching this progression.

So, I want to say how amazing these workers have been. I’ve been blown away by their diligence and hard work. I’ve seen some come before 7 a.m. and work quietly for a few hours.

And they are always kind to a sidewalk observer.

I also want to acknowledge the staff of the library for their resilience and adaptability.

How lucky we are on Vashon.
