Washington State Ferries (WSF) informed us last Friday that Vashon would lose car capacity for this week, beginning Monday.
A number of ferry issues are up for change or proposed to change in the near term. Most of the changes are already in motion. Most need input from the public, especially the users. One of them needs immediate attention.
On Thursday, Dec. 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Vashon High School, officials from Washington State Ferries (WSF) will visit Vashon. Among other things, they will present a potentially devastating proposal to cut our ferry service.
