Several Island merchants will participate in a charity flea market from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 21.

Charities will include Providence Hospice, cancer research, the Vashon-Maury Community Food Bank, Vashon Island Pet Protectors and others.

Stores participating include Vashon Pharmacy, Books by the Way, Vashon Bookshop, The Little House, Chilkat Traders, Treasure Island, Heron’s Nest, Giraffe, Kronos, Frame of Mind, Zanzibar Chocolates, Vashon Tea Shop and Island Thyme Gifts.

Most shops will include tables outside of their stores and will have drastically reduced items for sale.

Café Luna will include themselves by donating some of their proceeds for the day to the charity of their choice as well.

Island Thyme, will have a parking lot filled with vendors which will include antique dealers from Seattle, Tacoma and the Island and several Island artists will have vintage jewelry, furniture, handmade lotions and clothing.
