Johnny Lund and the Galaxies will play rock ’n’ roll in a free show at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Red Bike.

Longtime rock musician Lund fronts the band with lead vocals and rhythm guitar. He’s the driving force behind the Seattle-based band Threshold, a Moody Blues tribute as well as Brittmania, a well-known local Beatles tribute.

The Galaxies are all veteran — and island — musicians. Scotty Johnson plays lead guitar and is known for his 25 years with island legends The Doily Brothers. Holding down the rhythm section are Danny Cadman and Loren Sinner. On sax is Van Crozier, who has played with the Jay Thomas Orchestra and Vashon bands the Portage Fill and Loose Change.
