I would like to take issue with the concept of animal-slaughtering as being a necessary thing for one’s existence.
I quit eating meat in 1972 and am very healthy, vital and rarely get sick. No meat needed for my well-being. The only thing necessary for one to remorselessly slaughter an animal you have been around for months or years is a compassion disconnect. I don’t consider that a healthy thing. There is far too much of that in this troubled world.
