Lee MacDougall, a British singer-songwriter who has been on a hot streak of international touring, will play a free show at Red Bicycle Bistro at 8:30 p.m. Friday. The show is for all ages until 11 p.m.
McDougall’s music is influenced by the storytelling songwriting of fellow Brits, the Beatles, the Kinks and Rod Stewart, but he is also inspired by Nirvana and Tom Petty.
Recently, McDougall finished a high-profile tour in the United Kingdom, opening for Atlantic Records million-selling soul artist Rumer. That gig was followed by McDougall’s own five-week European tour.
Island musician Tab Tabscott will open the show.
