Letter to the Editor: Unbuildable lot laws easy to get around

I have read with interest a couple of Q & A’s regarding unbuildable lots in Emma Amiad’s column (“Ask Emma,” a paid ad) over the past months, and I must disagree.

King County is not enforcing laws regarding unbuildable lots. I say, go ahead and buy the lot, build what you will — no septic, no water and no power required. Chances are King County will drag its feet long enough that you can just get an “already built construction” permit, pay a small fine (or not even that if you get representation) and live happily ever after. Even complaining neighbors are unlikely to put a stop to your project.
