Dave Peck, a renowned jazz pianist from Seattle, will appear in concert at the Blue Heron at 8 p.m. Friday, June 11.

He’ll bring along bassist Jeff Johnson and drummer Jo La Barbera to play jazz standards and songs from “Modern Romance,” a CD Peck recently recorded live at Jazz Alley.

Peck has collaborated with saxophonist Bud Shank and performed alongside Chet Baker, Joe Williams and Freddie Hubbard. Tickets, $14 and $16, are on sale at Blue Heron, Heron’s Nest, Books by the Way, www.brownpapertickets.com and by calling 463-5131.
