King County Sheriff’s Office deputies found the body of a 37-year-old woman in the water at Dockton Park Thursday, Dec. 6, according to sheriff’s office spokesman Sgt. Ryan Abbott.

The King County Medical Examiner identified her as Sarah L. Pacciarelli and indicated she died on Dec. 4 due to drowning. The examiner’s office said the manner of death was undetermined.

Pacciarelli reportedly lived aboard a boat moored in Quartermaster Harbor. Her husband returned to the boat after having been away and reported her missing at about 10 a.m. on Dec. 6. He had spotted her backpack, Abbott said, but had been unable to find her. Deputies arrived and located the woman’s body near shore.

Abbott said no foul play is suspected.

Pacciarelli’s Facebook page indicates she is from Utica, New York.
