Born on December 14, 1946, in Warrenton Virginia.

Grew up in Dockton and attended Burton Elementary School and Vashon Island High School, Class of 1964.

As a young adult, Pete moved to West Seattle, where he was known by his legal name, George. He married Brenda Thayer, and they had a son, Robert William Sudduth. The couple later divorced.

He worked briefly at Connelly Acceptance Corporation as a repossesser.

He learned to weld and worked for years as a boilermaker at Todd Ship Yards on Harbor Island, Seattle. Later Pete owned a company named Dockside Repairs.

He had a strong love of cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed travel and music.

He especially loved jazz and blues.

Pete died on February 13, 2017, and was preceded in death by his parents, Sue Shattuck and George Sudduth, Sr. and his brother Bill. He is survived by his son Free, three brothers, Tom and Mike Sudduth, Vashon, Dave Sudduth, Tacoma, and his sister Robin Miller, Sumner.

An informal gathering to remember Pete will be held on June 17th
