Margo Veidt

October 12, 1961–April 29, 2011

Our dear Margo went to be with the Lord early Friday morning, April 29th. Margo made Vashon her home the last six plus years of her life. She served as a deacon at Bethel Free Church as well as in other capacities there. She could frequently be seen walking her beloved dog, Stinky around town. Margo’s friendly manner, humble spirit and compassionate nature made her something of a local favorite. She will be missed by all blessed to have known her.

Margo is survived by her two children, Michael and Leah Veidt of Seattle, who also recently lost their father, Steven Veidt; and by her two granddaughters, Zoe and Stevie Veidt, her sister, Julie McCormick-Saathoff of Vashon, and Julie’s children, Isaac, Felicia, Austin and Allison.

A memorial service will be held to honor her life at Bethel Free Church, Saturday, May 7th at 3:00 p.m. All who would like to attend are encouraged to come.
