James “Jim” Hunt Richardson, 67 years old, a 30 year resident of Vashon Island, “crossed the bar” on April 14, 2015, passing away of natural causes. There will be a 1:30 p.m. military burial service on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at the Vashon Island Cemetery, followed by a Memorial Celebration of Jim’s life at 2:30 p.m., at Vashon Island Community Church on Cemetery Road. All are invited and welcome to attend both services.

Jim is survived by his best friend and wife of 42 years, Leah, and son, Aaron E. Richardson (Megan) and grandson, Cooper James Richardson, of Liberty Lake, WA.; two sisters, Mary Ellen and Carolyn (Joe) Taylor; two brothers, Larry (Uschi) Richardson and Dean (Dorothy) Richardson. He was predeceased by his oldest sister, Joan; survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim, we miss you dearly and look forward to the day we will see you again!
