Hilton Henderson (Huck) Davison
Huck Davison died February 5th, 2011 at his home at Vashon Community Care. Huck was born in 1915 in Buffalo, married the love of his life, Barbara, in 1940, served in the army during WWII, and had a long and successful banking career in New York and Florida. He was an avid golfer, an astute card player, and a life-long lover of horses. Huck and Barbie moved to Vashon in 2000 to be near their daughter Lynn and her partner Judy Clegg. Huck was a wonderful husband for 64 years and the world’s best dad. He was also a very engaging guy who made friends easily and kept many of them for life. Huck was always busy, always dreaming about the next big deal, and always had a twinkle in his eye. His charm was contagious and his stubbornness was well known and loved. Huck leaves his brother Bob (Margie), daughter Lynn (Judy), nephew Cash O’Donnell and other nieces and nephews. The family thanks the remarkably loving and capable staff at Vashon Community Care and at Hospice. They helped make his last three years, and his last 3 months, fulfilling and comfortable. There will be a memorial service on March 6th at 3PM at the Vashon Cemetery. Everyone’s invited to come and remember Huck. Please send any gifts in honor of Huck Davison to Vashon Community Care, 15333 Vashon Highway SW, Vashon, WA, 98070-3811. Please visit our online guest book at www.islandfuneral.com.
