Lois Rosberg
April 7, 2010
Our beloved wife and mother went
to be with our Lord in Heaven.
Lois was born May 6, 1922, in Westminster, County of Middlesex, Ontario, Canada, to George and Helen Moir. She married Peter Rosberg in 1947 and moved to Seattle, Washington. They settled on Vashon Island to raise their four daughters, Diana, Jayne, Laurie and Karen. She was many things in this life; daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend. She was loving and kind, always there when you needed her, stable, reliable, honest and hardworking. Her neighbors and friends were like extended family to her and she made everyone feel loved, always warm and nurturing to those she cared about. Lois collected wonderful life-long friends, some as far back as 70 years. She was the best mother anyone could wish for, never playing favorites with any of her children, and truly cared about all their friends. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bill. She is survived by her husband Peter of 63 years, her sisters Margaret and Helen, her daughters, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Her family adored her, and her legacy of Love is living on through them.
Hold on tight to the ones you Love, time waits for no one. Treasure every moment you have.
Our prayers have all been answered
I finally arrived
The healing that had been delayed
Has now been realized
No one’s in a hurry, there’s no schedule to keep
We’re all enjoying Jesus, just sitting at His feet
If you could see me now
I’m walking streets of gold
If you could see me now
I’m standing tall and whole
If you could see me now
You’d know I’ve seen His face
If you could see me now
You’d know the pain is erased
My light and temporary trials
have worked out for my good
to know it brought Him glory
When I misunderstood
Though we’ve had our sorrows
they never can compare
What Jesus has in store for us
No language can share
If you could see me now
You wouldn’t want me to ever leave this place
If you could only see me now
